BoxMounted Tahoeposters.com images come laminated and flush mounted to the edge of a mica and fiberboard Box. (The poster goes to the front edge) The sides of the Box are 1 1/2 inches deep and are either black or the color that we have specially matched to that poster. The special color option is noted on the poster's page and on the order form. The plastic lamination gives your poster a permanent low glare matte finish that cleans easily and protects the poster from moisture, dust and dirt. The result is a stunning product that is lightweight, durable, and easy to care for; an elegant finished piece, ready to hang on your wall! The use of lamination rather than glass makes our products the perfect choice for informal decor: dens, kid's rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, offices and commercial spaces.

Care of your BoxMounted Poster
With proper care your tahoeposters.com image will bring years of enjoyment whether displayed in your home or business. Your poster is coated with a plastic laminate which protects it from moisture, dust and dirt. It can be safely hung in bathrooms, kitchens and other moist environments, but standing water at the edge can cause damage. We do not recommend displaying tahoeposters.com BoxMounted images outdoors. The plastic laminate provides some UV protection for the images but prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause discoloration of the poster so we recommend that you not hang your poster in direct sunlight. Think of the UV protective laminate like sunscreen, it won't prevent damage, it will just take longer for the sun to cause the damage. To clean your BoxMounted image you may use common, non-abrasive cleaners such as SimpleGreen or Windex. To remove sticky residue we recommend a citrus based solvent such as GooGone. Do not scrub or use abrasives on your BoxMounted poster.
