Custom BoxMounting
Alpine Mounting Systems, the parent of tahoeposters.com, offers Custom BoxMounting services for posters, photos, drawings, children's art, maps, certificates and many other forms of art that you already own or purchase elsewhere. Our BoxMounting products are beautiful and and durable for display in homes, cabins, offices and public settings. We can accommodate orders of one or one hundred.
Our custom BoxMounting services are available through your local picture framer. E-mail us for an affliliated framer near you. If your favorite picture framer is not yet one of our affiliates, we will send them all the information they will need to offer our BoxMounting services and send you a free thank you gift too!

The Box
This is our most popular mounting product and is the product offered for tahoeposters.com images. The artwork is flush mounted to the edge of a mica and fiberboard box. You can choose from a matte or glossy laminate finish. The side edge of The Box is finished in your choice of 30 different colors and can be built in a variety of depths. Our standard depth is 1 1/2 inches. BoxMounted posters come with standard wire and hooks, but custom security mounting hardware is available.
The Accent Box
This is a fancier version of The Box. A color border around the artwork adds a matted effect that enhances the image and adds impact. The border can be wide and bold, or small and subtle - match the side color, or pick a contrasting color - the choice is yours. The Accent Box allows you to arrange groups of photos, news articles, or other images on one box to create a great display.
The Floatmount
The Floatmount is the simplest, least expensive of Alpine Mounting Systems' BoxMounting products. The artwork is laminated, with a matte or glossy finish, mounted flush to the edge of sturdy, lightweight mica board, and then backed with a recessed fiberboard frame to allow your image to float a little less than an inch off the wall. This is a great looking, more durable alternative to drymounting.
